Edwin William Isaacs

A Graveside Service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Monday, November 7th at Beth Olam Memorial Park on Route 70 in Lakewood, New Jersey.

He was born February 25, 1929 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late Ruth and Milton Isaacs. He grew up in Brookline, Massachusetts and was graduated from Boston University in 1952. After serving the military as a photographer in the 82nd Airborne Division, he moved to New York City where he opened Ed Isaacs Studio, Inc., a commercial photography studio, and married Nancy Goldberg in July of 1963. He and Nancy raised their family in Freehold, New Jersey where they jointly owned and operated the Pet Gallery for 15 years. In 1987 they retired to Greenbriar Woodlands where they have lived happily for the last 35 years. Ed is survived by Nancy Isaacs, his loving wife of 59 years, his sons in whom he took enormous pride, Michael Isaacs of Columbus Ohio and Steven Isaacs of Durham, North Carolina, their lovely spouses Dana and Cathy, and his five beloved grandchildren Grace, Leila, Denver, Parker and Hudson.
