Eleanor S. Strapp Kozick

Eleanor S. Kozick, age 95, of Manchester passed away on Monday, peacefully at Community Medical Center in Toms River, NJ. She was employed by the Englewood Board of Education as a secretary of the Cleveland School for 23 years, retiring in 1979. She attended St. John’s Church in Lakehurst. Eleanor lived in Englewood and Demarest before moving to Manchester. Mrs. Kozick is predeceased by her husband John. She is survived by her sister Clare Pettit and her husband Melvin of Loundenville, NY, son John Kozick of Charlotte, NC, daughter, Ellen Kozick of Ramsey, NJ, granddaughter, Laurey Thiele and her husband Jerry Thiele of Canada, and two great grandchildren, Crystal and Matthew Baucom. Funeral Services will begin at D’Elia Funeral Home, 1300 Vermont Ave., Lakewood, NJ at 9:30 a.m. on Friday with Mass of Christian Burial following at 11 a.m. at St. John’s Church, 619 Chestnut St., Lakehurst, NJ. Burial will follow at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery in Lakewood.
