John A. Hurley

John was a WWII veteran and spent his entire career at the NCR Corporation in customer services and retired as a manager of 150 technical representatives. John is survived by his wife of 65 years , Mary Costello Hurley, five sons and daughters in law, John and Nancy, James and Phyllis, Thomas and Jan, Terence and Nora and Joseph and Susan, two daughters Catherine and Mary and eleven grandchildren. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed by all. Calling hours will be Thursday, May 17th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the D’Elia Funeral Home Rt. 70 and Vermont Ave Lakewood, NJ 08701. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, May 18th 10:30 AM at St. Mary of The Lake Church 43 Madison Ave., Lakewood, NJ 08701. Entombment will be at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery , Lakewood, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 400 Morris Avenue, Suite 251 Denville NJ 07834.
