John Joseph Rosenbach, 80, of Lakewood passed away on May 16, 2010 at the NJ Veterans Home. He proudly served in the US Army and was a combat veteran of the Korean War. He was also a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He had received commendations from President Ronald Reagan for phones installed for the President at the airport. He worked for Verizon for over 40 years before retiring. He was a loyal Yankee fan for years. He will be greatly missed by his loving family.
He is survived by his beloved wife Angela (nee Simone) Rosenbach; loving children Mark Rosenbach and his wife Diana, Lisa Coppeto and her husband John, Dr. Keith Rosenbach and his wife Carolina and Dr. Kevin Rosenbach; also survived by 11 grandchildren and brothers Robert & Gus and sister Carol.
A visitation will be held at the D’Elia Funeral Home Rte. 70 & Vermont Ave. on Thursday 3-5 and 7-9PM. A funeral mass will be celebrated at Visitation Church on Friday 10AM. Entombment to follow at St. Gertrudes Cemetery Colonia, NJ.
