Judith A. Hernandez

Born in Utuado, Puerto Rico to parents Octavio and Ana Hernandez on May 29, 1950. Judith was educated in the Lakewood New Jersey school system. Judith married Jesus Fernandez on December 22, 1979 . She worked for Legal Services in Toms River for many years. Judith was one of the most loving, funny, giving and caring people you could ever know. She was one of those people who would open her arms and doors to anyone who needed it, at anytime, regardless of the situation. She could sit and make anyone laugh and smile at any moment with her wonderful sense of humor. Her love and dedication to her family and friends will never be forgotten, and she will forever be missed.

Judith is preceded by her parents, Octavio and Ana Hernandez. Sister Irene Laboy Castaneda, and her brother Octavio “Junior” Andujar.

Judith is survived by her husband of over 41 years, Jesus Fernandez. Children Jose Hernandez, Maria Arroyo, Jesse Fernandez and his wife Alicia. Grandchildren Alivia Worthy, Ciara Hernandez, Jordan Hernandez, Alejandro Fernandez, Raymond Alvarez, Isabella Hernandez, Ariana Fernandez and Jada Fernandez. Great Grandson Joel Diaz, Jr. Siblings Lenora and Jerome Hernandez. Judith leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews whom she loved a great deal, and friends she will remember forever.

A Visitation service will be held Thursday from 5-9PM at D’Elia Funeral Home, 1300 Vermont Avenue, Lakewood NJ.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 10 AM. Interment at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery, Lakewood.
