Lillie Audrey Brown

Lillie Audrey Brown, age 81, of Lakewood, NJ, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at her residence. She was born in Lakewood, NJ on December 30, 1930, and was a lifelong area resident. Audrey was employed by Point Bay Fuel for over 34 years. She was a graduate of the Barbizon School of Modeling. Audrey was an avid gardener and enjoyed travel. Daughter of the late Lillian Roland (Ely) and William Aubrey Clayton and sister of the late Virginia Rupp, Audrey is survived by her 4 children, Charles William Brown of Frisco, TX, Barbara Jo Riivald of Island Heights, NJ, William Michael Brown and his wife Susan of Frisco, TX, and Valerie Ann Remig and her husband Craig of Chesapeake, VA; a sister, Jacqueline Clark of Lakewood; 6 grandchildren, Dava, Clayton, William, Lauren, Charles and Lilia; 2 great-grandchildren, Madison and Paxton; and a dear family friend, Maggie Matika.

Relatives and friends will be received on Saturday from 3 to 5:30 p.m. at the D’Elia Funeral Home, Rte 70 & Vermont Ave., Lakewood, NJ 08701.
