Born and raised in Long Branch, NJ, she was a prior resident of Colts Neck and Brick, before moving in 2011 to her daughter Bambi’s home in Jackson.
Wife of the late Vincent Stewart who died in 2000, she is survived by 3 daughters, Bambi Summers, Valarie Skalenko, and Suzanne Remeta and her husband John; 2 brothers, Henry “Chip” Feeney and Earl Feeney and his wife Mary Lou; 7 grandchildren, Shawn, Christine, Jennifer, Dawn, Nicole, Kyle and Jack; 6 great grandchildren, Catherine, Keira, David, Kayla, Richard, and Christopher; and 2 great-great-grandchildren, Jacob and Theodore.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 10am-12pm at the D’Elia Funeral Home, 1300 Vermont Ave., Lakewood, NJ 08701. Her funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home. Burial will be in the Holmdel Cemetery, Holmdel, NJ.
