Our dear beloved wife, loving mother, and doting grandmother, passed away on Thursday July 28th at home beside her husband in Toms River, NJ. She was born in Manhattan, NY on February 22, 1940 and was 82 years old.
Marilyn was twice voted most athletic in her younger years in Union City, NJ. Later, she worked mostly in the secretarial field, always happy to be a supportive, behind-the-scenes person. She and her husband were married 62 years and had visited 48 states and most of the national parks, as well as Canada, Mexico, Hungary, and many tropical islands. She always put family first, had a warm, loving smile, and was always willing to help. It was always a pleasure to be in her company. In later years, she enjoyed bocce, mahjong, her grandchildren, and being a snowbird in Myrtle Beach, SC.

She is survived by her husband Edmund “Ed”, son Edmund III (Aniko), daughter Lorraine (Raymond) Ferraro, nine grandchildren - Elizabeth Holt, Rachel, Edmund IV “EJ”, Emrys, Anika and Ronan Balzer - Andrew, Matthew, and Nicholas Ferraro - great-grandchild Lilliana Holt, and brother Robert Faresich.
