Matthew E. Zinke

Matthew was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing who also spent many years volunteering with the New Jersey Fish and Game Commission at Fort Dix where he taught the rules and regulations of hunting.

Matthew was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Helen (Mockapretis) Zinke, brothers Edward and Joseph and sister Dorothy (Grillo).

He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 ½ years, Patricia (Meyer) and his 5 daughters, Helen (Paul) Brennan of Manchester, AnnMarie Zinke-Keating of Jackson, Jane (Jeff) Mockler of Fort Wayne, IN, Michele (Stephen) Staub of Brick, and Carolyn Kilheeney of North Brunswick. He will be missed by his 9 grandchildren, Tabitha, Jonathan, Matthew, Bradley, Nicole, Cassie, Michael, Christopher, and Drew and 2 great-grandchildren and his ‘let’s go for coffee’ fur baby Maggie. He is also survived by his brothers Robert Zinke, NC and Jack Zinke, FL.

Services will be private under the direction of D’Elia Funeral Home, Lakewood.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital.
