Ross W. Smith, 90, of Lakewood, died July 20, 2017 at the Laurelton Nursing Home in Brick, NJ. Born in North Bergen, New Jersey, he was an Ocean County resident since 1957 and Brick Township resident since 1961. Smith served in the American, European and Pacific theaters of war during World War II and was a life member of V.F.W. Post 8867. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Julianna, son, William, daughter-in-law, Brenda of Texas and grandchildren, Andrew and Krista. Cremation will be held privately.
