Stephen James Christensen Sr.

Stephen James Christensen Sr., 54, passed away August 18, 2015 at Ocean Medical Center in Brick. Mr. Christensen was born in East Rutherford moving to Lakewood and Brick. He worked for Lester Glenn as a parts manager for over 20 years. Stephen was an avid New York Giants and NASCAR fan. He was known for being a true gentleman and his love of bacon cheeseburgers. The love of his life was his children, who he was dedicated to. He was a loving father and brother and will be greatly missed by all. Mr. Christensen is predeceased by his parents, Gerald and Carol Christensen and sister, Elizabeth Christensen. Stephen is survived by his children, Stephen J. Christensen Jr and Taylor Christensen, siblings, Gerald Christensen and his wife Wendy, Terrance Christensen and his wife Denise, Valerie Christensen Viviano and Mark Christensen and his wife Tanya, many other relatives and friends and his beloved dog, Tyson. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 21, 2015 from 6-9 pm at the D’Elia Funeral Home 1300 Vermont Ave. Lakewood, NJ 08701. A Funeral Service will be held during the visitation starting at 8pm. Cremation will be held privately. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Stephen’s memory to his beloved family.
