

William F. Baker, 72, passed away December 26, 2013 at Brick Memorial Hospital. Mr. Baker was born in Irvington moving to Roselle and Fairlawn for many years before settling in Lakewood for the past 12 years. He attended Irvington High School and Seton Hall University where he attained his bachelor’s degree in Accounting. William worked for Auto Graphic Business Forms as an accountant where he met his wife and he worked Ciga-Geigy as a controller. He was a member of the Fairways Men’s Club. Mr. Baker was an avid bowler, fisherman, golfer, loved playing cards and enjoyed his trips to Atlantic City. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother and will be greatly missed by all. Mr. Baker is predeceased by his parents Robert and Sophie Baker and his son Scott Baker. William is survived by his wife of 45 years, Barbara, daughter Michelle Harder and her husband Tim, Grandchildren, Matthew and Tyler, sister, Eugenia Foster and her husband Charles, brothers, Robert Baker and his wife Erna and Thomas Baker and his wife Virginia and many other of nieces and nephews. Friends may call Saturday, December 28, 2013 from 11am-12pm at the D’Elia Funeral Home Rt. 70 & Vermont Ave. Lakewood, NJ 08701.
