

Burnell Ware Sr. was born April 19, 1934 in Stampley, Mississippi to the late Rosa Lee "Cebel" Trimble and Walter Ware. Burnell was known for his love of domino games that could last till 3 in the morning. He also loved to hunt and was famous for his birthday parties, where all were invited and they did all show up. Burnell worked many years for the City of Texas City and then as a construction worker. Burnell departed this life April 9, 2012 at Mainland Medical Center. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Edna Jean Ware, son Alreco Ware and second wife Addie B. Ware. Those left to cherish his memories from his marriage to Edna are, Berna Grifin, Burnell Ware Jr. and Lethia K. Harris (Nathaniel); his children, David Butler (Rosa), Tawanna Owens, Mekeba Mullen (James), Eretha Batts and Christopher Spears; his grandchildren, Claude Jr., Leanthony (Sharine), Marcus (Kendra), Micah, Raven, Anthony, Rickisha, Julian, Kirklyn, Nathaniel Jr., Natavia, Mason, Daelen, Elijah, David Jr., Lauren, Whitney and Brooke; his greatgrandchildren, Cameron, Makayla, Ijewaan, Irene, Jatavious, Amiri, Makenzie, Marcus Jr., Alijah, Isaiah and Quincy; and his great-great grandchild, Isaiah; sisters, Rosalee Burgess and Arne Bell Ramsey of Baton Rouge, LA and a host of nieces, nephew, cousins, aunts, uncles,family members and friends.
