Helen Marie Jackson was born May 15,1946 in Newgulf, Texas to the Parents of Anderson Smith and Rena Mae Jackson.
Helen attended Texas City High School and graduated. She went on to further her education at Huston Tillotson University, Austin, Texas.
She grew up confessing her life to Christ at an early age. Later united with Greater Barbour’s Chapel Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. H. A, Ratcliff Jr. and remained a faithful member unto death. She served as the President of the Nurses Aid and she served on the Usher Board at the Church. She always express love and kindness to everyone who really knew her.
She met and was joined in Holy Matrimony to Morris Francis June 5, 1968, to this union one Son Patrick Francis.
Helen was employed at Monsanto- Chocolate Bayou for 32 Years until Retirement.
She was presently employed by H & R Block as a Tax Accountant for the last 25 years.
On Monday, April 27, 2020, Helen received a call from our Heavenly Father with an offer she could not refuse, nor reschedule. She preceded in death by her Father Anderson Smith, her Mother Rena Mae Jackson and Brother Louis T. Adams Jr.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her Husband Morris Francis, one son, Rev. Patrick and wife(Jamie)Francis, Sr. Dallas, Texas. Extended family, Andre Booker, Manville,
Texas, Lavoisha Booker, Texas City Texas, an Adopted son Johnny Black Missouri City, Texas and adopted daughter JoJo(Joann Rolling and a host of relatives and loving friends.
