

On February 17, 1986 in Hobart, Oklahoma, a beautiful baby girl was born to Robert Ivery Jr. and Rachel Holloway Ivery. They named their beautiful daughter, Henryette Rose Ann Ivery. "Peaches" as she was fondly known, was educated in the public schools of Dallas, La Marque and Texas City. At an early age, she accepted Christ as her personal Savior, was baptized and became a member of St. Matthews Holy Missionary Baptist Church in Dallas under the pastoral leadership of Pastor O. G. Mayes. She was a special person who loved life and loved her family, especially her loving children. She continued her walk with the Lord and was a member of Rising Star Missionary Baptist Church in Texas City under the leadership of Pastor Dr. D. N. Benford, Sr. "Peaches" passed from this life on March 24, 2015 in Texas City, Texas. Left to cherish memories of her life are: husband, David Washington; her children, Devin, Dweayne, Dezanna, Dandre and Dailyn Washington; her mother, Rachel Holloway; her father and step-mother, Robert Ivery, Jr. and Shelia Ivery; her sisters, Crystal Holloway, Tyann Holloway and Shaletha Peterson; her brothers, Isaiah Ivery, Amos, Ivery, Carl Ivery, Willie Frazier, and Michael Frazier; great-grandmother, Doris Rose; her grandmother, Shellie Allen; great-great-aunt, Irene Keys; aunts, Shirley Joseph, Leah Ballantyne, Sundie Holloway, Lydia Holloway, April Farris, Monetta Allen Prieston, Elaine Ivery and Linda Ivery; uncles, Gad Holloway, Michael Holloway, Ray Holloway and Jimmy Hughes; and a host of cousins, family members and friends.
