Sincere condolences to the family of Paul Shivers from The Class of 1966 of the historic Galveston CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL which is the first Texas public  high school for blacks being established in 1885.  Paul made history as a member of the BEARCATS  1963 Football State Champion Team.  We fondly remember "Big Tiny".   He is a good classmate and friend.  Paul Shivers is gone but he will not be forgotten as is documented in the school history.   We pray that GOD give us all strength and understanding.

Hey Big Guy..  Man I am just now finding out about your passing.  I am really going to miss you.  You're at home with the Lord now and you're not suffering anymore.  I think I gave you a hat from everywhere I was stationed and everywhere I visited while I was in the Air Force.  I always made sure you got that hat!!  Now, you have a crown, which is better than any hat I could ever give you.  May your soul rest in peace..  "Button"
