Betty is survived by daughters, Randie Knotts and Robin (Mark) Cathers, all of Lancaster; grandchildren, Ric (Stacie) Knotts, Shane (Ashleigh) Knotts, Emily Knotts (Chad Milan), Jonathan (Lindsay) Cathers, Michael (Jennifer) Cathers and Joel Cathers; great-grandchildren, Trevor Knotts, Brooke Baker, Allie Baker, Chase Rager, Tyler Rager, Brody Knotts, Jordan Knotts, Bentley Milan, Layla Cathers, Gabrielle Cathers and Liam Cathers.
Preceded in death by her husband, Neal Elder, parents, Adam and Clara Byers, brother, Melvin Byers, sister, Mildred Byers, great grandson, Carson Knotts.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday at Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home with Pastor Jonathon Morgan officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Rose Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Forest Rose Cemetery.
