Dorothy E. Skiver, age 81 of Lancaster went home to be with her Lord, Saturday, September 3, 2011 at Crestview Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She attended Faith Memorial Church of Lancaster.
Survived by: her husband of 61 years, Darl W. Skiver, her sons and daughters-in-law; Steve & Mardee Skiver, John & Peggy Stratton, grandchildren; Traci (Eric) Mahler, Tiffani (Steve) Rossi, Ashley (Andy) Kennedy, Karen (Scott) Davis, great-grandchildren; Andrew, Zachary, Evan, Hannah and Marisa Mahler, Dominick Bornino, Delaini Rossi, sisters; Virginia Jonas, and June Powell, a brother, Chester (Lynn) Six, nieces, nephews and many special friends.
Preceded in death by her parents, W. Chester and Eunice Six.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Thursday at Faith Memorial Church with Rev. Mel Truex officiating. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call 4- 8 P.M. Wednesday at the Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home and 1 hour prior to services Thursday at the Church.
