Eileen B Martin

Eileen B. Martin, 97, of Carroll passed away on Sunday November 19th, 2017 at the Lanfair Center. Eileen was born on July 10th, 1920 in Wellston, OH to the late Ralph C. and Violet (Tucker) Thorne. She retired from Western Electric (AT&T) and was a longtime member of the Wildermuth Memorial Church in Carroll.

Eileen is survived by her children, Rita (Lester) Estep, and Gary (Leah) Martin; grandchildren, Brian (Melissa) Estep of Steelville, Missouri, Alisa (Bill) Spaulding, and Vance (Niki) Martin; great-grandchildren, Abraham, Eve, Phoebe, Isaiah, Silas, Levi, David, Emma, Abigail, and Sophia; brother, Wesley Eugene Thorne; sister-in-law, Bessie Martin; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Martin; brother, Bill Thorne; and great-grandson, Elijah Estep.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 26th, 2017 at 2PM at the HALTEMAN-FETT & DYER FUNERAL HOME with Pastors Dan and Doug Smith officiating. Friends may call on Saturday from 4-7PM at the funeral home, as well as ONE HOUR PRIOR to the services on Sunday. Private burial is to take place at the Greenfield Township Cemetery.
