

Harold "Hap" E. White, 75, of Lancaster, Ohio, passed away peacefully in the presence of family on February 1, 2025. Hap was born in Logan, Ohio to the parents of Henry and Zella White. He was a proud Army veteran and served his country during and after the Vietnam war until he was honorably discharged in 1975. Hap graduated from Fort Lauderdale College with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. Throughout Hap's life he worked as an automotive mechanic and cement truck driver and operator.
Hap enjoyed classic muscle cars, listening to music, watching Ohio State football, Nascar and the Miami Dolphins. Hap was preceded in death by his father, Henry, mother, Zalla and brother Michael.
Hap is survived by two sons, Harold Jr.(Jennifer) White and Richard (Kristin) White; six siblings: Christine (Randy) Stapleton, Danny (Sue) White, Emily White, Margaret (Dean) Combs, Michelle (Chris) Eyeman, Stella White, Tommy Ray (Christine) Hembree; three grandkids: Anthony (Sonya) White, Ashley (Brett) Klein and Olivia White; four great grandkids: Zoey, Chloe, Orion White and Rylee Klein.
A visitation for Harold will be held Thursday, February 13, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home, 436 N Broad St, Lancaster, Ohio 43130.
