Jacqueline “Jackie” L. Jackson, 77of Sugar Grove, passed away on Sunday November 12, 2023 at her residence. Jackie was born on July 8, 1946 in Lancaster, Ohio to the late Harry A. Clark and Margaret E. Kindler Clark. Jackie is survived by her husband, her high school sweetheart, Daniel E. Jackson, daughters, Cheri (Bob) Long and Kristi (Joel) Seymour; Son, Danny (Erika) Jackson, grandchildren, Micah (Olivia) Long, Sarah (Josh) Bauman, Jesse (Cassie) Seymour, Luke Seymour, Emmie Seymour, and Evan Jackson; great grandchildren, Jameson Long, Kimber Long, and Samantha Bauman.

Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Bob Clark, sisters, Peg White, Lois (Bob) Leffler and Becky Glenn.

Jackie was a loving wife, mother, and Mamaw who is deeply loved by her family. She was a great friend known for her joy, compassion, and humor. She was Registered Nurse who graduated from the Grant School of Nursing in 1967. She enjoyed a long career as a floor nurse, surgical nurse, and OB/GYN nurse in Lancaster. She counted her co-workers as friends and enjoyed helping her patients. As a 1964 graduate, she was proud of her alma mater Berne Union and was involved with the school and boosters for many years.

Jackie had a vibrant faith in Jesus. Over her lifetime she was actively involved at Sugar Grove United Methodist, Fairfield Christian Church, and Lancaster Vineyard Church. She served at SuperKids for many years. She was passionate about serving at the Lancaster Vineyard Food Pantry. The family wishes to thank Fairhope Hospice for their compassionate care and support over the last few years.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at Halteman Fett & Dyer Funeral Home. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Floral Hills Memory Gardens, Lancaster.
