Janis M. Peters

Janis Marlene Peters, of Pleasantville, Ohio went home to be with her Lord and Savior on March 31, 2023 surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of the late Harry and Garnet Miller. Janis was a member of the Pleasantville United Methodist Church and worked the food pantry for many years.

Janis is survived by her husband, Roland Dean Peters, whom she married on June 19, 1955; a son, Jeff (Mary) Peters of Pleasantville; a daughter, Susan (Rick) James of Lancaster. She had four grandchildren, Josh (Jennifer) Peters, Kyle (Jaime) Peters, Shauna (Chad) Stotts, and Nathan (Jessica) James; 10 great-grandchildren and 2 step-great-grandchildren. She was also survived by a sister, Shirlee Ety; brother, Gary (Judy) Miller and sister-in-law, Shirley Miller; along with many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers, Jackie and Robert Miller; and a brother in law, Gerald “Pete” Ety.

The family would like to thank FairHoPe Hospice for their loving care of Janis.

At Janis’ request a Private Family Service was held.
