Linda Sue Griffith

Sugar Grove - Linda Sue Griffith, 70 of Sugar Grove passed away on Wednesday May 2nd, 2018 at Cindy's Adult Care Center surrounded by loved ones. Linda was born on May 21st, 1947 in Lancaster, Ohio to the late George and Martha Wheeling. She retired from Ohio Bell (AT&T) after 30 years of serving as a telephone operator. Linda loved flowers and gardening. She was a 4-H advisor for many years and taught many classes on cooking and sewing. She was also a huge animal lover and had a special place in her heart for all animals. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her.

Linda is survived by her loving husband, Lynn Edward Griffith; children, Nancy Lynn (Joseph) Griffith-Moody, Benjamin Edward (Lucinda) Griffith; grandchildren, Max and Patrick Moody, Natalie, Rylee, and Ethan Snoke; brother, Robert Wheeling; and sister, Delores (Richard) Bardales.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, George Wheeling Jr.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 7th, 2018 at 11:30AM at the HALTEMAN-FETT & DYER FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Paul Wymer officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 1-3PM & 5-7PM at the funeral home, as well as ONE HOUR prior to the services on Monday. Dignity Cremation is to take place through the funeral home.

The family would like to thank the staff at Cindy's Adult Care Center, as well as the staff at FairHoPe Hospice for all of their loving compassion and care for Linda.
