Still missing this beautiful lady.  A wonderful, fun Aunt with so many family stories to tell.  As the years pass since losing her, I come back to see her picture and I am always amazed at her beauty.   I think of her often, she is so missed!  Rest in Peace with the angels Aunt Lucille.

Many childhood memories visiting this beautiful lady and many as an adult.  You always left feeling better and with filled with family history and smiles.  I went with my Dad(her brother) to visit during the Easter season.  She had hundreds of  plastic colored eggs hanging from her bushes along with a dozen air filled rabbits!   I had my little 4 year old daughter with me and she would not go in the house, she wanted to stay in "the Easter Bunny's"  yard!!!   Aunt Lucille ran in to get a camera, took her picture, got her by the hand and said the Bunny had left cookies inside for her!   If you ever met this amazing lady you never forgot her.  How I miss those visits!  I will always love you Aunt Lucille.

Lucille was the best mother and friend anyone could have. she was on your side even if you were wrong.  she had 13 children of whom she lost twin girls, Norma Jean an Mary Jane,my little brother, VICKIE was 7 yrs. old and she had a miscarriage in 1954. today, Oct.27is her birthday .she went to be with Jesus and Daddy on Jan.16 2014.It seems like she just left yesterday.My heart breaks again everyday! I had 7 brothers an I was the only girl.I still have 6 brothers and I miss my brother Don very much but I'll see him some day again real soon,my Grandma,Poppy,Ora,andFaye,Rosco, an my whole family Im praying.Mommy save me an apt. next door to yours.You an Daddy be sure to meet me at the Pearly Gates. I love you to the moon and back.A Lot!

Sharon, my sympathies go out to you and your family at this sensitive time. I remember selling Avon to your Mom and loved talking to her and seeing her with the animals. I know you will miss her greatly. God Bless.

Sharon, We were very sorry to hear of your mothers death.  A few years ago Dick Lemon and I tried to find your mother in Lancaster.  I doubt if you remember me, Chuck (Butch) Rutter.  Don and I pretty much grew up together out on 664 North.  We go back to the 4th or 5 grade over at Mud Sock.Both your Dad and Mother were very special to me. I well remember when Ira remodeled the old school house.  Don and I both got a big piece of the sheet rock which we used as desk in our shanties.  Those were the days!!

Rex and Family, An unexpected facebook post took me back, I knew it had to be Lucille. So sorry to hear of the loss of Mommy,Rex, always called her that! She was such a genuine person. She always made Bruce and I feel  welcomed  to her home, Many words of wisdom to share about life. I will never forget the unique laugh she had. When ever I see Lily of the Valley I always think of her. Bruce and I have many treasured memories of your Mom,Dad and Family! I delivered Meals on Wheels to Lucille.  She was always so pleasant and enjoyed talking to us on each visit.  I will never forget that before we would leave she we "thank us" for getting up that day to bring her meal for the day.  I will miss making my weekly stop at Lucille's house and seeing Lucille and Opie.  To her family please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Lucille and her husband Ira were just the greatest grandparents-so warm-hearted and kind.  I shall forever be grateful and proud to be an Adams from their bloodline.  As a toddler, I remember fondly my visits to their house in Logan out on 664---their big loving dogs (Sarge, Princess, Daisy Mae), Easter egg hunting, Christmas present opening and treasured trips into town to the Super Duper or Shake Shoppe. On my recent visits to Lancaster, it was so nice to hear her  "gift of gab" going as strong as ever as she sat outdoors on the porch swing on a nice summer day or inside on her big chair in the living room with her prized little sidekick Gizmo amongst others.  Her ever-expanding wall of family photos was always a sight to behold. Rest in peace Lucille and thank you so much for all you have given.  Sincerely your grandson Keith Eric

Aunt Lucilles passing was our loss and heavens gain!  What a beautiful, warm, kind person that loved children, dogs and flowers. She always made you feel at home when you visited and gave you one of her beautiful smiles to take home with you.   She will live on in all our hearts forever.

Lots of great memories growing up with grandma. Fish patties and coconut creme pies are still my favorite :). Going to the goodwill store and collecting buttons :).  Best of all, you instilled the love of animals in me, thank you grandma.
