Mark A Starner

Mark Andrew Starner, 58, of Lancaster, passed away on Saturday August 7, 2021. Mark was born January 9, 1963, in Lancaster, Ohio to the late Robert R. and Eleanora “Ellie” L. (Skeens) Starner. He was an active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church of Lancaster for many years. He was employed at Post Consumer Brands, formally Ralston Foods.

Mark is survived by his son, Abe Starner and daughter, Rachel (Miguel) Lopez; grandchildren, Kenneth “KC” Thomas, Eva Lopez and Alma Lopez; sister, Lucretia “Lu” (Tim) Fox and brother, Glen (Carol) Starner; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and extended family. He is also survived by his Family-in-Love, Beverly Engle, Richard and Janelle Engle, Steve and Brenda Fitzpatrick and his dog Jake.

Mark loved the Lord, his family and friends, his dog Jake, the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and learning. He was so willing to lend a hand. He was loved by many.

Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 12, 2021 at the HALTEMAN-FETT & DYER FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Roger Quay officiating. Burial to follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may visit Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
