Roy F. Ware Jr., 83, of Thornville, passed away on Friday, December 28, 2018 at Fairfield Medical Center. Roy was born June 12, 1935, in Chauncey, Ohio to the late Roy F. and Margaret E. Lowery Ware. Roy attended Avlon United Brethren in Christ Church, was a US Army Veteran, member of NRA and worked for Basil Joint Fire District. He retired from Baltimore Fire Department and AcroSeal International Paper.
Roy is survived by his wife, Evelyn E. Miller Ware, son, Anthony Ware, daughters, Joanna Mills and Tiffany Ware; grandchildren, Joshua, Caleb, PJ, Brandon and Ryan; great grandchildren, Anthony, Johnathan, Aiden and Bryson; sister, Rita (John) Knore, brother, Kenneth (Marty) Ware; step children, Penny (Kevin) Strohm, Shirley (Rick) Rager and Steve (Brenda) Miller; several grandchildren.
Memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Avlon United Brethren in Christ Church.
