Ruth A. Turner, Born to Charles and Nydia Nolte on September 23, 1925, Ruth went to join them and her Lord on October 18, 2014. In addition to her parents, she was preceded to glory by her sister Jeanne Caruso and daughter Diana Turner Florian. She is survived by her best friend and husband of 66 years, Carl Turner; children Kathryn Turner Edwards and Carl (Becky) Turner; grandchildren, Wendy (Lance) Scarff, Nick Osborn, Annie (Matt) Sheets, Amber (Todd) Humrichouser and Sean Edwards; great grandchildren, Brandon, Melanie and Nathan Scarff, Sam, Jack, Hudson and Oliver Sheets, and James Humrichouser; and her extended family in Christ. She was dearly loved, and her joy and laughter will be sorely missed.
A Celebration of her Life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 25, 2014, at Shalom United Methodist Church, located at 4925 Plum Road NW, Carroll, Ohio 43112. In lieu of flowers please consider a contribution in Ruth’s honor to the Shalom United Methodist Church Woman’s Group.
