Adelina Barbon

BARBON, Adelina Oliva (nee Pinarello); It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and friend. Born February 26, 1925 from Treviso, Italy, passed away suddenly at home on November 19, 2013. She is predeceased by her husband Abramo Barbon and her son Domenico (Lil). She is survived by 2 sons and 1 daughter, Sergio (Gianna), Roni (Debbie) and Gloria (Roland). She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren; Elaine, Colin, Shaun, Enrico, Gary, Leesa, Jason and Tyler as well as her 11 great-grandchildren. She will be missed by her many relatives in Italy, France and Australia as well as her many friends. She will be sadly missed by the Nurses and Staff at Jackman Manor in Aldergrove that provided her with the outmost respected care for the final 3 years of her life.

A Funeral Service will be held at the Holy Spirit Parish, 244 Lawrence Street, New Westminster on November 29 at 11:00 am. Following the service, there will be a Celebration of Life to be held in Adelina's honor at the Roma Hall, 940 Ewen Avenue, New Westminster. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
