Alan and I met in 1983. I was a member of the Nordic Ski Club where Alan decided to join. He was on his face most of the time so that hobby only lasted one season for him.
We married in 1984. Alan was also involved in many activities and hobbies. He was active in the West Van Model Railway Club, the Hollyburn Sailing Club and Eagle Harbour Yacht Club.
We purchased a sailboat and enjoyed being out on the ocean. We travelled a lot ... Australia, Micronesia, Europe and our latest trip to Japan in 2020 where he fulfilled his dream of riding the bullet train across Japan.
We were both involved in competitive dog shows. I with Lhasa's and Alan with Chihuahuas. His special love was a little Chihuahua name Nina. We had many Canadian, American and International Champions. We had purchased a Motorhome in order to travel all across the USA to compete.
Alan has a full life doing the things he enjoyed most.
I will miss him.
