A Celebration of Life tea will be held at Langley Seniors Village, 20363 65th Avenue, Langley on April 25, 2015 at 1:30 p.m.
Lexie had many hobbies, she was an avid sewer, quilter, baker and loved to garden. Her appearance was always of upmost importance, never failing to look beautiful even while walking her dog or cheering on her favorite Canucks. Lexie would like the world to know her work here is done. Her life here has taken her to a wonderful place. She is now able to reunite with those who have been patiently waiting. "Pops" has had enough peace and quiet. She can socialize, laugh, sing, dance and read until her heart is content. We will forever miss you, as much as you will miss a good sale at Sears. Until we are together again, Rest in Peace Mom.
Lexie was predeceased by her loving husband Jack, grandson Jessie, and her most loved companion "Peekie”. Lexie is survived by her brother David Mitchell. She is also survived by her children: Barbara (Frank), Robert (Maureen), Heather (Robert), Wendy (Bruce), Tammy (Mike), Dawn (Rick), Scott (Angela), and Randy (Susan), her grandchildren Carolyn, Kathryn, Todd, Michael (Sarah), Carson, Dean (Alicea), Denise (Pete), Stephen, Christian, Angela (Angus) ,Brody, Carlie, Lyle, Kyle (Chelsey), Myles, Austin and Royce and her great grandchildren Montana, Brianna, Abigail, Annadelle, Savannah, Riley, Fynn, Evan, Christy, Karlin, Fallon, Jaxen, Mia, Melina, Kade, Liliana, Abigail and Wyatt.
Special thanks for the loving care of her extended family at The Langley Senior’s Village and to extraordinary attention given by Dr. Fagan and the Langley Memorial Hospital in Mom's last days. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your local S.P.C.A.
