

Ann was born April,3 1939 in Barnes, Surry, England the daughter of Donald and Elizabeth Chilcott.
Ann worked at Chubb international in London, before marrying John W.R. Stammers. They had three children Donna, Duane and Mark Stammers, On July 3, 1965 they immigrated to Canada. First to Windsor Ontario, where Mark was born. They then moved the family across Canada to Vancouver, British Columbia.
Ann dedicated her life to raising the children, not working until they were older as a Daycare provider and for The Burnaby Winter Club.She had fond memories of watching some future Canucks, as up and coming NHL stars. With Cliff Ronning being one.
As the retirement years came. She enjoyed being a Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Great, Great,Grandmother, they were her joy and legacy.
Remaining to cherish Ann’s memory are her daughter Donna( George) and her son Mark (Mariann) numerous grandchildren (10), great grandchildren (18) and one great, great grandchild.
The family would like to thank Ann's doctor DR.R.Dalzell, the Langley Hospital nurses and staff for her care over the years.
There is no service by her request and Memorial donations in Ann’s memory may be directed to Langley Memorial Hospital Foundation. She was an avid supporter of Penny Pinchers in Langley and The Langley Hospital Foundations Thrift store.
Mum has joined our Dad John and brother Duane in the Lord's arms. Mark and Myself thank you all at this difficult time.
