Audrey Florence Skotynski

Born on May 9, 1944 in Prince George, BC. Kathy was raised and remained in the Cloverdale area where she raised her children and was a well known hair stylist for many years. Later in life Kathy made a career move to the Pacific Carlton Seniors Community in White Rock working as a Prep Cook for the last 32 years. She was a hard working, dedicated member of the PC team, building long lasting friendships with colleagues and residents alike.

She was best known for for her openness, warmth, generosity and sense of humor and touched the lives of everyone who knew her.

Kathy was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend and her greatest joy was raising her family and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter Laura Amaral (Jeff) and her son Robert Chorney (Michelle). Grandchildren Nathan Amaral, Nicole Amaral and Mía Chorney. She was pre deceased by her life partner Roy Wills.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the doctors, nurses, caregivers and volunteers of the Langley Hospice Residence in Langley BC who provided compassionate care during her illness.

Though Kathy is no longer with us her love, generosity and gentle spirit will remain in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
