Bev left us on April 20, 2026, sadly too soon to see her first great granddaughter who is due to be born in early June.
Bev and Keith celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary last October. Their marriage was truly a celebration of their love and devotion to their family.
Bev was born in Vancouver in 1949. She was the youngest daughter of Alfred and Pauline Kusch, and younger sister of Sunnie and Terry.
Bev grew up in Vancouver B.C. and attended Gladstone High School.
She met Keith when she was in Grade 11 and knew immediately that he was the one for her.
Together they raised Paula and Michael in Richmond and Delta, cheering on the kids’ ball and hockey games, taking them camping in the Okanagan, and always going to Keith’s childhood home in Egmont on the Sunshine Coast.
Once the kids were older, Bev began working at Delta School District and stayed there until her retirement.
In later years Bev and Keith travelled extensively to Hawaii and Mexico, with cruises to the Caribbean, Alaska, Europe and South Pacific.
A Celebration of Life will take place May 2, 2:30 p.m. at Cloverdale Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Bev’s memory can be made to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.
