Catherina Johanna Maria Van Bugnum

July 22, 1935 - November 4, 2021

Mom passed away peacefully in her home with her children at her side. She battled cancer for as long as she could. Mom’s final wishes were to stay at home for as long as possible, without any pain. She leaves behind her children Peggy (Karl), Raymond, Rick (Jane), and Bobbi (Norm), grandchildren Megan (Stu), Melissa (Brad), Deanne (Bob), Tyler (Kandice), Jolene (Jeff), Ricky (Katie), Trevor (Erica), Taylor (Ryan), Zach, Darian and Justin, great grandchildren Blake, Reese, Hudson, Tatum, Skye, Kassidy, Keegan, Heather, Jaiden, Lucas and Helena (guardian granddaughter) and 2 more great grandsons expected in December and January that Mom was hoping to meet. She is predeceased by her husband Godefriedus (Jeff) and daughter-in-law, Christina.

A service in honour of Mom will be held on Monday, November 15, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Henderson’s Funeral Home on Fraser Highway in Langley.

Mom told us many times during the last few weeks…."Don’t cry because I am gone, be happy that I was here".
