Our beloved Inara Lacite passed away peacefully at home in the early morning hours of October 17, 2025, after a courageous three-year battle with cancer. She was just 50 years old.
Born in Jelgava, Latvia, Inara later moved to Vancouver, Canada, at the age of 34 with her loving husband Martins and their cherished daughter Laura, beginning a new and beautiful chapter of life together.
A talented hairdresser, Inara had a natural gift for style and a deep love for fashion and beauty. She adored the world of design, elegance, and creativity, and had an extraordinary ability to make everything around her more beautiful.
Inara had a joyful, creative spirit and loved sharing her passions with others. Through her YouTube channel, she inspired people with her warmth, authenticity, and artistic eye, building a loyal community of followers who admired her positive outlook and genuine heart. She also loved photography, creating content, and finding beauty in every detail of life.
She was known for her radiant smile and her love of coffee, especially her favorite, a creamy, perfectly made latte, which she enjoyed every day, even up to her last. Inara truly lived life to the fullest, whether she was skiing in Whistler, soaking up the sunshine, or laughing with friends over coffee.
Summers were some of her happiest times. When she was not in the Caribbean or at Crescent Beach, she loved spending time in Penticton, in the Okanagan, where she delighted in boating, swimming, wine tasting, sun tanning, and enjoying the warmth of long, golden days. She had a passion for shopping, always drawn to things that reflected her elegant taste and lively spirit.
Inara also had a deep love for cooking and sharing her recipes with family and friends. Her kitchen was always filled with the delicious aromas of meals she lovingly prepared and the sound of laughter. She especially loved sushi, as well as cheesecake and pastries, sweet treats that matched her sweet and vibrant soul.
She loved to travel, and one of her favorite places in the world was Hawaii, where she felt truly alive, surrounded by the ocean, palm trees, and endless sunshine.
Inara will always be remembered for her kindness, her laughter, her beauty inside and out, and the way she made life brighter for everyone around her. She loved deeply, lived beautifully, and faced every challenge with grace and courage.
She will be deeply missed and forever loved by her husband Martins, her daughter Laura, and all who were blessed to know her.
