With heavy hearts we must say farewell to our lifelong and dear friend, John Angus MacKenzie. John passed away October 26, 2021, a few days after being admitted to the Burnaby General Hospital with several health issues. We will remember his fiercely competitive nature, be it fishing trips to Heffley Lake for the better part of 20 years, or the 25 year stretch of annual golf tournaments in the Okanagan. Not to mention the impromptu games of cribbage, backgammon, or his perennial championship ping pong skills.
John had an all-in attitude and an entrepreneurial spirit that served him well over his career choices and pursuit of knowledge and excellence.
From all of us John, we will miss your big persona and your beaming smile. You exemplified friendship for so many of us.
