Kevin Edward Warren Collett

COLLETT, Kevin Edward Warren August 24, 1948 - August 14, 2014; We sadly announce that Kevin passed away peacefully on August 14th, 2014 at the age of 65 after a brief but very courageous battle with lung cancer. He will be sorely missed by his wife Carol of 46 years; sons Edward, James (Jenn), and Randal (Bonnie); grandchildren Sadie, Mason, and Tyson; Jenn's children Payton, Makenna, and Katie; as well as many relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his infant daughter in 1971, Mother Bernice, Stepfather George, Aunt Doris, and Uncle Ed.

Kevin was born in Calgary, Alberta on August 24, 1948 but moved to Vancouver at an early age to be raised as an only child by his Mother and Aunt Doris. In 1968 Kevin married his love Carol and they proudly raised their three sons in Coquitlam. Throughout life Kevin was passionate about his dirtbiking and automotive hobbies, from which many friendships were made. However, his family was the most important thing in his life, especially his grandchildren who were the apple of his eye. Kevin touched the lives of many people with his dry sense of humour and his generosity towards others. He will be forever missed by all who knew him. A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. September 13th, 2014 at Henderson's Langley Funeral Home, 20786 Fraser Highway, Langley, B.C. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the BC Cancer Agency.
