Klaus was born in Angermünder, Germany on June 14th, 1940. He attended the Technical University of Berlin where he studied Physics. He emigrated to Canada in 1968 where he raised his three children Anthony, Julie, and Suzanne. In Canada, Klaus had a successful career as an engineer, but it was the serenity of country life that drew him to plant his roots at his farm in South Langley where he lived for forty years.
Klaus will be remembered for his story telling, his sense of humor, and as a companion and protector of those he loved.
May you rest in peace, dear father,
Until we meet again.
Nothing can ever take away
The love a heart holds dear,
Fond memories linger every day,
Remembrance keeps him near.
