Shared a Life Giving their Love to All for 67 Years
Lillian May Lee, April 6, 1933- November 19, 2021 and Jack Cheu Lee, January 25, 1931- March 20, 2022
Lillian (born in Barkerville, BC) met Jack in Vancouver. They married in August 1954 and built their life together in Burnaby BC. They are survived by 3 children Gregory, Gordon, Brenda and Ray Hong (Lillian’s big brother) grand children Quinn & Georgia Lee
Their whole lives were dedicated to their family. Lillian “mom to everyone”, spread her love by offering a shoulder to cry on, words of encouragement, wisdom , advice and lots of warm kisses and hugs. Her wish was to make everyone feel happy. Her nurturing spirit extended to her garden and plants, where she was so very proud to make everything thrive and bloom.
Her passion for cooking, baking, and entertaining was shared by inviting everyone to a meal and always providing a care package to take home. Her cookies, pies, cakes, famous Wonton and Chow mein
were her way to extend her love. Jack was the ultimate character who loved people, striking up conversations with people wherever he went. He always had a joke or story to make you laugh. Family, great food, whiskey, golf, bowling and lots of friends made him so happy.
Together Lillian & Jack were gracious hosts with their home being the centre of many parties.
Family, Food, Friends & Fun. They traveled and cruised the world but Hawaii was the place that had a special place in their hearts. Beginning in the 1960’s they vacationed first in Honolulu and later in Maui almost every year until 2017.
For 10 years they spent the winter months in Maui They were well known regulars on Kamaole Beach 1 where they gathered their friends and walked daily
Lillian and Jack will be forever missed but not forgotten. We will always carry them in our hearts .
