

Lillian is survived by her 3 loving children, Lisa, Ray (Amy) and Barry. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Tia, Sierra and Connor.
She was predeceased by her husband Barry, mother, Johanna, father, Issac and older brother, Art.
For more than 30 years, she dedicated her life to teaching, inspiring countless students with her patience, compassion, and unwavering commitment to education. After earning her Master’s in Special Education in 1991, she combined her passion for learning with her love of travel, teaching in international schools in Egypt, Vietnam, Thailand, and Taiwan. She also lived in many places across Canada, including British Columbia, Ontario, The Yukon, and Nova Scotia, though British Columbia was always home. Fiercely independent, adventurous, and devoted to helping others, she leaves behind a legacy of curiosity, kindness, and lives forever changed by her work.
A casual service and reception for friends and family wil be held at Henderson’s Langley Funeral Home on August 6 from 1:00-3:00pm.
