Was born in Delisle, Saskatchewan on October 28, 1928 and passed away peacefully with family at her side on her birthday October 28, 2010 at the Peace Arch Hospital in White Rock. Lovingly remembered by her husband of 62 years, Walter (Bud), brother Gordon Turner of Summerland (Audrey), children Gayle (Gerry), Gary, Lois (Greg), grandchildren Cheryl and Sandy and many nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends. She was a resident in five different Provinces - Saskatchewan, Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, and British Columbia and retired from the Vancouver City Accounting Department. An accomplished pianist, she played and enjoyed music throughout her life and was an accompanist for many years at Care Homes. She is predeceased by her parents Stanley and Gladys Turner. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the wonderful staff at Peace Portal Lodge for the warm care they provided Maggie. In lieu of flowers donations in Marg's memory can be made to the Canadian Red Cross, Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice.
