Predeceased by husband Ron, son Scott and grandson Peter, mother May and father Harry and son in law Jim.
Left to mourn are daughters; Joyce, Ruth (Uwe) and Ann (Doug). Grandchildren; Jennifer, Erik, Markus, Kate (Michael), Ian (Colin), and Michael; as well as good friends; Hilde, Norina and Cathy.
Mum was a kind, gentle and generous person. She was born in Virden, Manitoba, the second child of four. She trained as a nurse, then was introduced by her brother at a dance to a gentleman in a RAF uniform. They went on to share an eventful life for sixty years, moving from Manitoba to Ontario to British Columbia to California (briefly), to Ontario then back to British Columbia where they retired.
The Guild of St. Margaret's Church was important to her.
Mum's family, friends and neighbours meant a lot to her, and she charmed everyone who met her.
