Michele Shelagh Lane

Michele was born on July 25, 1942 in Vancouver, B.C. Throughout her life, she demonstrated unwavering dedication to her family and friends. Renowned for her compassion and readiness to assist others, Michele's warmth and steady presence enriched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Affectionately known as Mimi by many, Michele is survived by her sister, Melinda (Terry) Collison and brother lan (Irene) MacAskill, her children, David (Amy) Lane, Jillian (Wayne) Sych and Karin (Tristan) Schaufler, and her grandchildren, Christopher, Cassidy, Brandon, Nathan, Liesl, Katy and Cullen and her two little dogs Chilli and Pepper, all of whom were a profound source of joy, and she took great pride in their lives and achievements. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Fraser Lane. Michele's lifelong love of animals, but especially her dogs, also brought her considerable comfort and happiness.

Michele will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her family and friends. Her legacy and memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched.
