Has been a year since you left us....I wish everyday that you hadn't.  I wish there was more that I could have done for you. To Lee, Robin and Kevin, my thoughts are with you. Your mother was a very special lady, smart and funny and someone who wouldn't take crap from anyone. She said what was on her mind, and you could talk to her about anything. I regret missing her service but I didn't hear about her passing until after . She will be fondly remembered and sadly missed. My heartfelt condolances to all of you.

I am so glad my Mom and I came  to see you this past summer even though it was in the hospital. I have many fond memories of you and Family gatherings.  I am so glad to have had you for an Aunt. My Mom (June) says she will miss you a lot, since they spoke almost weekly.

Sending our sincere sympathies to Auntie Pat's family. We are so sorry for your loss. We have many fond memories of her.  She was a wonderful lady with a generous heart! She will be greatly missed. We were unable to attend the funeral as we were in Mexico. Our thoughts & prayers are with you during this difficult time.

I am so blessed to have had you for a mother in law....you treated me like a daughter and made such an amazing impact in my life. I am so happy that you were a part of my childrens lives especially Mykenna who I know brought you so much joy! We will love and miss you everyday for the rest of our lives. So sorry to hear of Pat's passing.  She was the experienced CUPE President when I was the newbie BTA President in Burnaby.  I so much appreciated her expertise and her wonderful sense of humour.  

And, so many years later, my grown-up nephew still uses his 'boo-boo bunny (made by Pat), but now with his own child.  

Thank you, all her family and friends, for sharing her with Burnaby schools for so many years.

Pat Pickering was a fantastic supporter of Barkerville and of the Theatre Royal where my partner and I produce theatrical productions. She was such a force for good within the site and a powerhouse of strength when she was on the Barkerville Heritage Trust board. She came to one of our shows last summer, accompanied by her lovely granddaughter, Jessica. It was a moving visit for all of us, knowing we would never see each other again. 
Pat, we will miss you so much!

We are sorry to hear about your mother who was our cousin.  Having not seen Patsy for a few years it is very nice to see the pictures.  We did see pictures from the get together at Christine's.  Our thoughts are with you and your families.   We are unable to attend the funeral as we live in Edmonton Alberta but will be thinking about you and all other cousins in B.C.
