Born on November 21st, 1986, in New Westminster, BC, Ryan was a bright light in the lives of so many – his family, his vast circle of friends, and anyone lucky enough to have known him.
Ryan devoted his life to his greatest passions: writing and performing music, sports, comedy and, above all, the people he loved. He had an incredible gift for making people laugh, with a sense if humor that could brighten even the darkest days. His love for hockey and WWE wrestling was undeniable, but what defined him was his boundless energy, playfulness, and the way he made everyone feel like family.
To his niece and nephew, Bronson and Gracelyn, Ryan was more than just an Uncle – he was their fun-loving, goofy, endlessly entertaining playmate, always ready for an adventure. His childlike spirit and infectious joy made him someone people naturally gravitated toward; a friend who felt like a brother to so many.
Ryan is reunited in peace with his beloved mother, Karen Dinwoodie, and leaves behind his father, Rick Dinwoodie, his sister, Lisa Magee (Daryl), and countless family members and friends who will forever hold his memory close. His absence leaves an immeasurable void, but his laughter, kindness, quirkiness, and music will echo in our hearts forever.
A Celebration of Ryan’s Life will be held on Tuesday, April 29th, at 10am at Newland’s Golf and Country Club in Langley. All who loved him are welcome to join in remembering and honoring the incredible person he was.
Ryan’s spirit will live on in the countless memories he gave us, in the songs he wrote, and in the joy he spread so effortlessly. He was deeply loved and will be missed beyond words.
