

It is with great sadness that his family announces the sudden passing of Stan Wilkinson of Surrey, BC on January 27, 2021 at the age of 77. Stan is survived by his wife of 42 years, Dot Wilkinson and by his son, Michael.
Stan was born in Renfrew, Ontario on August 31, 1943. He attended Renfrew Collegiate and then went on to live and work in Toronto, Ottawa and the Vancouver area. He was a long-time mechanic at the City of Burnaby until his retirement.
Stan had a passion for golf, vintage cars and the Toronto Maple Leafs. He loved dogs including his loyal Samoyed, Tuktu. He appreciated a good shot of rye and Johnny Cash. He loved camping and his multiple road trips across Canada, in Alaska and beyond. And, no matter where he lived, worked or travelled, he always held a special place in his heart for his friends and family in the Ottawa Valley.
He is predeceased by his parents Oscar and Jessie Wilkinson, his sister Marion Warren (Don), and his brothers Doug and James. He is survived by his sister Evelyn Martin (Dave) of Renfrew, his brother Bob (Carol) of Liverpool, N.S. and sister-in-law Marion Wilkinson of Renfrew plus numerous nieces and nephews. Also mourning his loss are his in-laws, extended family members and dear friends.
There will be no memorial service as per Stan’s request. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of one's choice. Messages of condolence may be left here for the family.
