Vera and I worked at Shell in Calgary for several years. We shared work habits that allowed us to produce complete and exacting reports from flimsy and late to arrive data - it was a pleasure to find and work with a person who can do this. I can't remember a cross word between us.
Vera and my wife Catherine became friends during meals at her place and ours. We all enjoyed good and plentiful food with long chat filled meals.
We will miss her.

I met Vera at Shell when training her in a position I was moving on from, and we became friends. Vera was a warm and interesting person who believed we are all connected, and considered everything she said carefully. One of her greatest joys was connecting with her son and his family. My sincere condolences on the passing of this special soul.
