Wendy Jean Kyle, aged 78, of British Columbia, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2026. Born on January 20, 1948, Wendy grew up in Vancouver, near Queen Elizabeth Park. She married Patrick Kyle on June 15, 1968, and the couple moved to Surrey to start their family. She later resided in Langley as well.
A devoted and loving mother, Wendy was immensely proud of her three children—Brent (married to Tammy), Jason (married to Barb), and Janette (married to Jesse)—and delighted in her six grandchildren: Sarah, Eric, Keeley, Layne, Natalie, and Alex. Her greatest joy was her family, and she will be deeply missed by them all.
Wendy cherished the outdoors, especially lakeside living, where she enjoyed hiking and fishing. In summer, her garden flourished under her care, and each Christmas her legendary baking filled the home with warmth and sweetness—butter tarts, date squares, Nanaimo bars, and countless other treats that became cherished traditions.
Wendy will be remembered fondly by her immediate family at a small, private celebration of life planned for this summer at Watch Lake, BC.
The family appreciates the love and support during this time.
