Albertus "Al" Worst

Our dad was affectionate, hardworking and devoted to his family. He was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan where he met his wife, Joyce, married 64 years. He moved his family to Lansing, Michigan where he made our home.

He was known for his compassionate nature, giving spirit and witty sense of humor. Dad’s personality brought warmth and joy to everyone he encountered. He was a faithful member to his church, ready to lend a helping hand, and offer words of comfort to those who needed it. He worked 38 years for Pitney Bowes, retiring at the age of 62. He loved Alaska, winters in Florida, golfing, fishing and family vacations. Dad’s memory will remain in the hearts of his family and all those who had the privilege of knowing him.

He is survived by his brother James (Nora) Worst; his children Jeff (Sandy) Worst and Susan LaMothe; his granddaughters Cassidy Logan and Kayla Touragneau; and two great-granddaughters, Nasiya and Danika Henry.

The family will gather at church to greet friends on Friday, March 21, 2025 beginning at 11:00 AM until the funeral service at 11:30 AM at South Church, 5250 Cornerstone Dr, Lansing, MI 48917. Military Honors will be under the auspices of the United States Air Force. The Interment will take place at Deepdale Memorial Gardens.
