Amelia Lopez Martinez

Amelia Lopez Martinez was born October 8, 1935 in San Antonio, Texas to Jesus Lopez and Margarita Neito. She was called home to the Lord, at the age of 86, on July 12, 2022.Amelia lived life to the fullest. She enjoyed listening to music, dancing, playing bingo and was happy she was blessed with 8 children to cherish her memories. She will be dearly missed by her children: Jose Martinez Jr., Edward Martinez, Margarita Salinas (Jose Jr.), Annette Costilla (Julio), Mary Serrato, Rick Martinez (Lynn), Rose Cortez (Rudy), and Jesse Martinez; 28 grandchildren and many great grandchildren whom she loved dearly and was very proud of them all.

As her health declined she made sure she told us how much she loved us and her favorite phrase was "I love you mucho mucho!!"

A Private Memorial Service is being planned for her Children & their families at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home. A memorial donation can be made to St. Vincent de Paul or Heart to Heart Hospice Care.

The family appreciates the loving care provided for our mother at the Willows of Okemos and the staff of Heart to Heart Hospice Care.

She was a Strong Willed Woman and she will be greatly missed.
